Little Blue Lake, Tasmania, Australia. Very beautiful aqua color water. There are many lovely spots around it you can have a decent picnic and get a great photo. Hidden just off Gladstone Road (B82 Hwy) and a 2-hour drive from Launceston is Little Blue Lake. This lake is the result of tin mining in the area and was once a mine hole. It gets its bright blue color from the minerals in the water. There are signs that suggest against swimming in the lake, but some websites say do swim. I probably wouldn't swim in it, given the coastline with beautiful beaches are not too far away.
